Cheapest Bidder Problems

Weather or not you have bought a new house or an old house, you have or will eventually have to replace the furnace and air conditioner in your home or place of business. It seems that everyone is looking for the best deal out there but buyer beware, most of the time you get what you pay for! There are shortcuts taken everyday but in this example below a new house system that wasn't installed correctly. This picture is a vent pipe adapter that isn't seated to the furnace, the red seal should be under the adapter sealing the carbon monoxide from leaking into the house. As you can see, there is a gap and co2 is leaking into the house in small amounts which is a poisonous gas. This is something you would never see us do! Some home owners know what to look for in a company but especially in building of new homes, most of the time the owner isn't the one selecting the HVAC Contractor and isn't aware of a lot of options that they could choose from. Usually the builder has a certain budget to follow and sometimes the HVAC system is the system that is cut back as much as possible. When this happens, home owners are left with the cheapest bidder doing the least amount of work as possible and quality is out the door. We at Martell Heating And Air LLC are dedicated to affordable quality workmanship. We value and take pride in the work that we do. If we are under bid, we don't tend to look back because we know what is being left on the table and our reputation will speak for itself. Give us a call at 405-215-8210, you will be glad that you did, I guarantee it.
